Responsibilities

The Developer analyzes user requirements to identify and undertake appropriate development activities to satisfy requests. Responds directly to users reporting application software, database, screen or report problems, and collects information and investigates problems until solutions are found.

 

Job functions Include:

  • Designs and develops Oracle SQL - PL/SQL procedures & functions.
  • Develops Crystal Reports using Oracle PL/SQL procedures.
  • Maintain applications developed in C# & SQL Server.
  • Fully tests above applications and reports, creating any test data necessary.
  • Prepares completed applications and reports for turnover to users or Operations staff.
  • Researches in-house program and system problems, and finds or creates appropriate solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in IT
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in development environment
  • Must be proficient in SQL, PL/SQL Crystal Reports, Oracle, SQL Server, XML, C#
  • Experience with VB.net, Visual Studio, TFS, T-SQL is beneficial
  • Healthcare EDI transactions (837, 835, etc) is beneficial
  • Minimum level computer skills in a Microsoft Office environment: Intermediate
  • Bi- or Multi- lingual skills (written and verbal): A Plus
  • Conceptual understanding of healthcare benefit administration

  • Manage competing deadlines and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Perform the essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation
