    Responsibilities

    The purpose of this position is to implement the digital strategy of the Culinary Health Fund and its affiliates. This position plans and develops digital communications for social media platforms, websites, email, and text message platforms.

     

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

    • Implements the Fund’s digital content strategy through research, platform determination, benchmarking, and creation of campaigns
    • Create, edit, publish and share engaging digital content that builds meaningful connections and interactions with participants
    • Respond to participants’ online reviews, questions and comments in a timely manner
    • Monitor the online presence of the Culinary Health Fund and its affiliates
    • Manage and maintain social media calendars
    • Develop and implement text message campaigns that include surveys, images, and videos
    • Develop and implement email campaigns
    • Focus on communicating consistent messaging, voice and tone throughout a variety of digital platforms
    • Support and coordinate with Web Designer to draft, edit, and update website content
    • Coordinate with Visual Content Creator on the production of photo and video content
    • Conduct ongoing analysis of social media, text message, email, and web activity and create reports
    • Support the distribution of benefit information and education campaigns on digital platforms
    • Support and coordinate Union liaison operations and projects, including new property enrollment events.
    • Support onsite employer education programs and materials, including employer-based health and benefit events.
    • Translation of small projects, when needed.
    • Sets goals and achieve measurable results
    • Contributes ideas to plans and achieving department goals
    • Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of responsibilities and requirements of the job
    • Performs Essential Job Functions and Duties with or without reasonable accommodation

    Qualifications

    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

     

    Years of Experience and Knowledge

    • 2 ~ 4 years of related experience in social media coordination of multiple brands
    • Working knowledge and experience in a healthcare environment
    • Communications experience highly desirable sufficient to provide a general understanding of the print/publishing processes

     Education, Licenses, and Certifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field or equivalent work experience required

    Skills and Abilities

    • Intermediate level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
    • Advanced level Microsoft Excel skills
    • Preferred fluency (speak and write) in Spanish
    • Detailed knowledge of the following computer skills desired: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Hootsuite, WordPress, and social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Strong knowledge of and experience managing social media, email, and text message platforms
    • Experience creating social media, email, and text campaigns
    • Intermediate graphic design skills
    • Experience using Mac computers
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills including the ability to prepare aesthetically pleasing materials geared to the appropriate audience
    • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment, e.g., flexibility, maturity, ability to successfully handle complex situations, empathy, sensitivity and tact
    • Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail
